15 people killed in Prague university shooting

The shooter also wounded around 25 others before themselves being killed, emergency services in the Czech capital say

At least 15 people were killed in a shooting at a university in Prague on Thursday, according to Czech police.

About 25 more people were wounded, officials said.

Police say the shooting happened at Charles University in central Prague, a popular tourist area.The shooter has been "eliminated," according to police.

Authorities said they were helping students evacuate after they locked themselves in classrooms during the shooting. Some classmates hid on the ledge of a university building to escape the attack, a photo on social media shows.
